Registered Dental Hygienist
Rocio was born and raised in Dallas, attended Dallas public schools, and graduated from Skyline High School in East Dallas. She obtained her associate’s degree in science from Richland College.
Rocio began dreaming of becoming a dental hygienist at the age of 13. She fulfilled her dream by obtaining her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Rocio brings new meaning to “living the dream” as a dental hygienist registered by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. She is certified in CPR, nitrous oxide, and pit and fissure sealants, is fluent in Spanish, and pursues continuing education in order to maintain knowledge and skill in all aspects of dentistry.
Rocio lives in East Dallas. In her spare time, she follows her favorite sports team—“HER” Dallas Cowboys—loves to travel, enjoys swimming, and spends time with her family and friends.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Katie was born and raised in Garland, Texas, but has lived domestically in Utah and Florida and internationally in Japan. In 2007, Katie decided it was time to come back to her roots in Texas and settled in Wylie.
Katie knew from an early age that she wanted to be a dental hygienist. A dental hygiene career combines educating patients regarding their oral health, while building long-standing relationships. Katie’s passion is building relationships, so being a dental hygienist was the perfect career choice.
Katie obtained her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Concorde Career College where she was the president of her class and was awarded the prestigious Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award. Katie has her license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Texas and is currently certified by the American Heart Association in CPR basic life support with automated external defibrillator. Katie pursues continuing education in order to maintain her knowledge and skill in all facets of dentistry.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time boating and traveling with her husband and daughter.
Registered Dental Assistant
Adrienne was born into an army family in Killeen. She grew up in San Antonio, moved to the Dallas area, and attended the University of North Texas. She and her family have made North Texas their home for more than 20 years.
Adrienne graduated from the Collin County Dental Assisting Program and thereafter obtained her Texas Registered Dental Assistant license. Adrienne has been trained in four-handed instrument transfer, X-rays, and the use of materials and instruments used in endodontics, restorative, crown and bridge, and surgery.
Adrienne lives in East Dallas. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, photography, and knitting.
LaJoyce was born and raised in the East Texas community of Alba-Golden. When she was 12 years old, she moved to Dallas, attended Dallas schools, and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She has made East Dallas her home for 71 years.
LaJoyce was employed by the Dallas Independent School District for 29 years. Her career with DISD began as secretary to the principal at J.L. Long Middle School in East Dallas. Later she transferred to Bryan Adams High School as the office manager and worked there until she was selected as the office manager for one of the area superintendents. After retirement, she worked part-time auditing activity funds for all the elementary schools in DISD.
LaJoyce shares time between her home in East Dallas and her farm in Golden. Her hobbies include spoiling her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, reading, quilting, gardening, traveling, and enjoying family and friends.
Cindi Cox was born and raised in Dallas, and serves as our office coordinator maintaining our website, enhancing our social media presence through Facebook and Healthgrades, and supporting our office manager in running the front office.
Cindi is a proud graduate of Skyline High School in East Dallas and attended Lone Star College-Montgomery Campus. She has obtained her certifications in accounting and human resources. Cindi has more than 20 years of experience in office and accounting management, most notably at ADP, White Rock/Katy Trail Weekly, and Total Compression Systems.
Cindi lives in East Dallas, and in her spare time, enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her grandson.
William Whitley was born and raised in Dallas and has served as our summer/winter break intern since 2012. William assists our front office staff by answering phones, scheduling appointments, confirming patients, and processing claims/patient payments.
William attended First Baptist Academy in downtown Dallas through seventh grade, then transferred to Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano in 2014. William is a junior at PCA, is a 4.0 student, is the Drum Major for PCA P.R.I.D.E. Lion Marching Band, and is a member of the Mock Trial and Future Problem Solvers teams.
William lives in East Dallas. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, watching TV, playing his clarinet, and spending time with his family and friends.
